Ballast rock, which can also be called ballast stones, is a stone material that is primarily used in the construction of railroads, but also serves other useful
construction purposes. The purpose of ballast rock is to provide stability while also allowing for easy drainage.

Screenings are a pulverized byproduct
of the stone-crushing process at quarries and rock yards. Once considered a waste product, screenings are the smaller crushed stone pieces and fines that pass through the screens meant to catch and collect larger sized pieces that make up other products like clean
gravels or rip rap.

Flex base is a material that has been in use by construction and infrastructure for a long time. It is a coarse building
material that is made up of rock that has been crushed down into a powder and then combined with stones of
varying sizes.

B Stone is a crushed rock typically used for construction entrances and rock ditch checks for storm water erosion prevention. It can also be used for low-water crossings.

Our common size rip rap which is 12”X18” is great for lining pond banks and creek channels to keep erosion from happening.

This large rip rap can be used for erosion control on steep banks. Material can also be used as landscaping boulders as well.
